The Petite Pans

Corning Ware P-41 / P-41-B Petite Pan 12 Ounce Capacity Shown with P-41-GC Pyrex cover. Uses the P-41-PC and P-43-PC Plastic covers. Dimensions: 7" x 5¼" - 1½" Tall Uses the P-41-HG handle.

 Sold in sets of 2 or 4 without glass covers, which were sold as a replacement item.
Some sets came with the plastic storage covers.
These were designed to be their own cover, by turning the top one 90 degrees and placing it on the bottom one.

The backstamps on the Petite Pans may be in blue, black, gray or even embossed on the newer ones.

They were also marked in cup sizes and may or may not have the trailing "B" in the model number.

The Petite Glass Covers . . . Then and Now.

A few changes have been made to the glass covers for the Petite pans.

In both photographs, the original Pyrex P41-GC is shown on the left. The new P40C is shown on the right.

The knob stem is thin on the original cover and thicker on the new cover.

The diameter of the circle on the original cover is 3½" and 2¾" on the new.

Weight: Old lid = 8.6 ounces / 240 grams - New lid = 7.6 ounces / 215 grams

The original cover is marked "Pyrex", the new one is marked "Made In Thailand".
